Eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical for its Broadway debut, demonstrate Sweeney Todd's worldwide success. Fans all over the world were thrilled by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's thrilling theater production and its creepy allure is a big part of why it's so great.

You see, there is this horrible judge who longs for the gorgeous wife of a London barber and sends him to Australia for a crime he did not do. On his return after 15 years, calling himself Sweeney Todd, and going back to his old trade, the now-mad man vows to take revenge for his false incarceration, and this is where the story gets very intense. His razor does more than just shave; it kills! Yes, you read that correctly: murder!

The bodies are eventually hurled down to Mrs. Lovett, who uses them in her meat-pie shop and sells them to unsuspecting London customers. Though a lot fall to his blade, Sweeney's hunger for blood will not be satisfied until he cuts open the judge's throat.

You must be there at Lunt-fontanne Theatre to witness this incredible tale untangle. The cast is completely triumphant in rendering this rendition, and the costumes are truly remarkable. Unfortunately, like all good things in life, there will only be a few slots available, and they will finish very fast. To avoid disappointment, be sure to get your tickets here before it is too late.
