The story-line becomes extremely powerful when the man, who now calls himself Sweeney Todd, comes back after 15 years, picks up his old trade, and swears to exact revenge for his false imprisonment. His instrument not only shaves, but also kills! That's right, you read that correctly: murder. Eventually, the bodies are transported to Mrs. Lovett, who uses them in her meat-pie store and sells them to unwary Londoners.
Sweeney's want for blood will not be fulfilled until he slits the judge's throat, even though many fall to his blade. This music is excellent in every way. You expect this one to give you the time of your life thanks to a fantastic narrative and the most incredible visuals and props the world has ever seen, but sadly, like everything this good, there is always a drawback: tickets are selling out fast.
