Sweeney Todd at Lunt-Fontanne Theatre

You see, there is this evil judge who lusts for the beautiful wife of a London barber and sends him to Australia for a crime he did not do. On his return after 15 years, calling himself Sweeney Todd, and going back to his old trade as a barber, the now-mad man vows to take revenge for his false incarceration, and this is where the story gets very intense. His razor does more than just shave; it kills! Yes, you read that correctly: murder!

The bodies are eventually shuttled down to Mrs. Lovett, who uses as a potent ingredient in her meat-pie shop and sells them to unknowing London customers. Though a lot fall to his blade, Sweeney's hunger for blood will not be satisfied until he slits the judge's throat.

You must be there at Lunt-fontanne Theatre to witness this incredible story untangle. The cast is completely triumphant in rendering this rendition, and the costumes are truly remarkable.
